Wat is de oorzaak van de beschreven communicatieproblemen die zich voordoen tussen kinderen van Curaçaose afkomst en een Nederlandse psychomotorische therapeut tijdens PMT op de John. F. Kennedyschool te Curaçao? En wat zijn mogelijke oplossingen hiervoor? |
| Samenvatting: |
Dit is een kwalitatief inventariserend onderzoek naar de oorzaak van de communicatieproblemen tussen een Nederlandse Psychomotorische therapeut en kinderen van Curaçaose afkomst op de John F. Kennedyschool te Curaçao. In dit onderzoek wordt tot resultaten gekomen aan de hand van vragenlijsten, interviews en inhoudsanalyses van de literatuur. De belangrijkste resultaten van dit onderzoek zijn dat de communicatieproblemen gedeeltelijk samenhangen met het cultuur- en het taalverschil, maar ook met het intelligentieniveau en de stoornis van de behandelde kinderen. Daarnaast speelt de manier waarop een kind is opgevoed ook een rol. Tevens is het interessant dat psychomotorische therapeuten werkzaam op SBO scholen te Nederland ook communicatieproblemen ondervinden tijdens hun therapie. |
| Abstract: |
This is a quantitative inventive research, towards the cause of communication problems between a Dutch psychomotor therapist and children of the John F. Kennedy School in Curaçao. In this investigation the results will be based on interviews, questioner’s, in depth-analyses, and literature. The most important results of this investigation, is that the communication problems are relating to three elements: one cultural, two language problem, and intellectual capacity of the child in accordance to its disability. Another important notion is the way of how a child is raised. Another important aspect is that psychomotor therapists who are working in these psycho mental schools in the Netherlands also have difficulty in the communication towards there therapy. |
