Professional focus educational training.

Improvise.
The student learns drama, art, music or psychomotor movement play
forms to train creativity and skills in the chosen medium.

Develop.
The student uses specific creative and psychomotor/movement
therapeutic techniques and methods to develop personal therapeutic
skills.

Indicate.
The student learns to choose therapeutic forms of treatment, to suit
the needs of clients.

Design
treatment plan. After analysis and diagnosis the student learns to
draft creative and psychomotor/movement therapeutic aims and designs
a treatment plan that is focused on optimal mental functioning.

Execute
treatment plan. The student will execute creative and psychomotor/movement
therapeutic treatment methods with responsibility.

Practice
in professional organization. The student will perform teamwork
tasks and learn about some other responsibilities of a therapist
such as organizing therapy materials.

Research
and innovation. The student will develop a personal vision as a
professional and contribute to the further development of the
occupation.

Functioning in a professional organization. The student will
contribute to quality and research development and learn how to
supervise students and/or colleagues.

Study. The
student will read, study and use literature, music, films and other
material of Creative Arts & Psychomotor/movement Therapies,
psychology and psychopathology found in Dutch, English and German
sources.
Process of
Learning.
The student’s
process of learning will be recorded in a ‘portfolio’; evidence of the
development as Creative Art & Psychomotor/movement Therapist. The
personal process of learning, feedback from lecturers and colleagues and
the student’s way of integrating this feedback will be recorded in the
portfolio. The portfolio makes a connection between personal growth in
the medium and professional development apparent. This process of
learning will be visible throughout the course of the studies.
